Consultation – have your say

At the end of June the government published its higher education white paper, available on the Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) website.

UCU has produced an initial analysis here (.pdf) and will be responding to the consultation on the overall strategy outlined in the white paper.

We are keen to make sure that the union’s response reflects the ‘voice of the profession’ and therefore are seeking direct input from lecturers, researchers and academic-related staff. Our response to the overall strategy in the white paper is the first step in a major campaign over the future of higher education. Member participation in this campaign is vital.
